A slouching troubled, only slightly chubby, clean-shaven man in his 20s wearing a t-shirt and a baseball cap stares hopelessly into the distance to the left. Back to back is his future self: an upright, strong, vibrant, happy, 40-year-old dark bearded man wearing a flannel shirt and a ranger hat smiles, radiating health and contentment.

In the waking hours when most are still asleep, a certain peace descends that fills your soul with hope for the day. For that moment everything seems right with the world.

Slow days are the best days. Days where you are at peace and appreciate all the small things that are often overlooked. These are the days that feed your soul.

Waking up next to someone with a smile on their face immediately brightens your morning. If you’re waking up alone, may the mirror smile back at you.

When you view life as one grand experiment, you realise there are no failures. Only learnings.

Your environment is super important. It can either propel you into success or drain you into destruction. Choose wisely.

Imagine if the world was just a bit more emotionally intelligent.

Starting is easy. Finishing is hard.

Nothing is new under the sun. Wisdom is ancient. The revelations of today are merely nuggets of recycled gold from aeons past.

Life happens to you or life happens for you. You get to decide.

So much of life is wasted waiting for the perfect time. A precious commodity we cannot make more of.

Choose to do what’s right even if it means going against what everyone else is doing. It’s better to live with integrity than with the popular vote from others.

All want the reward. Few put in the effort.

What if getting ahead, wanting more and keeping on adding is actually pushing us backwards?

What if having less is actually the answer? Less clutter, less debt, less noise.

Simplicity is a beautiful thing but it can be so hard to achieve when we live in a culture that keeps adding and never subtracts.

To become an expert, convert your knowledge into wisdom.

Each day we are given opportunities. As small as they may seem, they are there. It’s up to us to use them like little building blocks. Laying just a few bricks each day over the course of a year will build you a house.

Progress over perfection. Make incremental improvements. Work in excellence. Perfection is a moving target.

In the waking hours when most are still asleep, a certain peace descends that fills your soul with hope for the day. For that moment everything seems right with the world.

When you zoom out of your life you realise that big successes are gained in the small moments along the way.

Not all time is equal. Time supercharged with energy is far more productive than the same amount of time-weighted with fatigue.
